The versatility of your MHP grill makes cooking most foods easy and great tasting. So for excellent tips, grilling hints and great eating enjoyment try these mouth watering recipes from our barbecuing friends.

 Barbecuing Seasonings and Sauces

Grilled Pork Chops
  • 4 6 0z. center cut chops (3/4" thick)
  • 3 Tbsp. of my "Pecan Rub Seasoning"
  • 1 Tbsp. of my "Tammy's Herbal Rub Seasoning"
  • Season to taste with my "Honey lemon Pepper"
  • Jon Henry's Logo
       Marinate chops overnight or no less than 4 hours in my Pecan Rub Seasoning and Tammy's Herbal Rub Seasoning before cooking.
       Preheat grill. These chops will cook in 10-12 minutes on medium heat and 4-5 minutes on high heat.
       Cook until you see a golden brown texture that you desire. Smoking will require a little longer.



    Bandito
    Tex/Mex Style Gourmet Food Products
    Beef Fajitas
  • 2-3 lbs. skirt steak
  • 1 12 oz. bottle Bandana Bandito Fajita Marinade
  • 1 16 oz. jar Bandana Bandito Pico de Gallo
  •    Place skirt steaks into glass pan. Pour over the Bandit's Fajita Marinade. Cover with foil or lid and let stand for 2 hours at room temperature.Turn steaks over and continue to let stand at room temperature for another 2 hours. Skirt steaks need to soak up the marinade.
       Preheat grill and set for medium-high heat. Lay skirt steaks on grill 6 inches or lower above heat source, cover and let cook for 4-5 minutes. Then uncover and turn steaks. There will be lots of smoke, but with a smell that will make your neighbors want to know what you are cooking. It smells great. Cook another 4-5 minutes or until steaks are done medium rare. Do not over cook.
       Take steaks off grill, wrap in foil and let rest for about 10 minutes. Unwrap foil and put steaks on cutting board. Slice steaks across the grain with a slight angle into 1/4 inch slices. Serve immediately with warmed flour tortillas, Pico de Gallo and guacamole. The Bandit also likes a heaping helping of spanish rice and frijoles with this meal.

  • Bamboo Skewers

  • Any Variety of vegetables
  • Barbecue Sauce
  •    Soak Bamboo skewers. Thaw Tip Teasers and using similar-sized pieces, place on skewer, alternating with any of the following: pineapple chunks, new potatoes, corn cobs, peppers, mushrooms, let your imagination run! Heat on grill for 3 to 4 minutes. Brush with your favorite barbecue sauce and serve!

    Kabobs can be prepared up to 12 hours in advance.

    Recipe Switch:Instead of barbecue sauce, try brushing the kabobs with a picante or salsa for a Mexican treat!
